I have really been wanting to take better photos of my little projects. Cards, Jewelry, and little goodies are surprisingly hard to photograph! After considering buying a cheap pop up lightbox, I searched online to see if there were any good DIY ideas for how to make a tabletop lightbox for really cheap. Megan over at radmegan has a totally AWESOME tutorial on how to make this one. It was super easy to do and only cost me $1.50! All I had to purchase was the wax paper ($1) and the white poster board (50 cents) at my local Dollar Tree store. I already had some tape and I rescued a box out of the recycling.
You should definitely check out her post on how to make this easy lightbox! Thanks, Megan! There are also some pretty good ideas that you can check out here.
Here’s a quick example pic that I took with my phone. I’ve got to dig out my DSLR camera and figure out how to actually use it.
I think the box turned out pretty nice. What an easy project. Now I just need to learn how to do the lighting! Hopefully I can find some info on how to do that, too. Oh how I love the internet — you really can learn how to do just about anything…
