With winter coming on its way, every woman needs a stylish ear warming accessory. This fun headband (or ear warmer) is pretty easy–knit the headband in the round and crochet the flower. I made this with Berroco’s “Flicker Siegfried 3305″, but any medium or worsted weight yarn will work well. I love the little specks of shine that this particular yarn has woven into it.
The complete tutorial can be found at the site Jenn Likes Yarn. She also has them available for purchase, if you prefer, or she takes custom orders and can make them in your favorite color.
TIP: To bind off, I used “Jeny’s Surprisingly Stretchy Bind-off”, which was invented by Jeny Staiman. It allows for a nice stretch when you are trying to get the warmer on your head. It’s also great for the tops of socks, turtlenecks, hats, or really anything that needs a little extra stretch on the end.
