I wanted to make my dad a birthday card for his 75th birthday. How better to celebrate than with a cupcake!
I had not yet tested out my Sew Easy kit by We R Memory Keepers, so I tried a simple stitch down the side of some Bazzill cardstock. It actually was pretty easy–I love how the stitches are perectly even and I didn’t have to poke them all myself. For the cupcake I used the Close To My Heart Cupcake Sprinkles stamp set. I love how all of the diferent pieces are individual stamps–which makes it much easier to stamp different colors. The part that I really like on this card are the sprinkles. I used ColorBox pigment ink and embossed it with sparkling holographic embossing powder.
Happy Birthday, Dad!
