This very simple scarf is super fun and ruffled. Elastic thread is used in the bobbin of the sewing maching to ruffle the center. I used a silk/linen blend fabric that I found in the remnants section of a local silk store. Instead of hemming the edges I decided to serge them with a rolled hem.
If you do not have elastic thread or cannot get it to work in your machine, you can also make it a different way without the elastic. The full tutorial can be found at the MADE blog.
